"Hello, my name is Chrys & I have decided to try to help find support for a very good dear family friend of mine Mark and his amazing young son Ezreck during this unimaginably difficult time Let me tell you a little bit about Ezreck..... He is a very vibrant, happy go lucky, fun-loving 8 year old boy. He has a very gentle soul, kind heart, can bring a chuckle and smile to anyone and can easily melt your heart!! He loves swimming, popcorn, camping, riding his bike, tobogganing, his trampoline, video games, YouTube, hugs, friends, family & dogs just to list a few. Ezreck has Stage 3 Rhabdomyo Sarcoma (RMS). This type of cancer forms in the soft tissue (muscles....Specifically skeletal muscle tissue), connective tissues (cartilage and tendons) or bones and sometimes hollow organs too. (This is a rare form of cancer that affects mainly children and only 500 a year in the US) He has now completed radiation and is on tough Chemo treatments. He truly is amazing and a true super hero!! He is being so strong and so brave, he’s a real fighter!! As parents ourselves we couldn’t even imagine what he is going through. The expenses and stress his hard working, fun loving & devoted single Dad is facing is one no parent should face. Due to the nature of his son's illness he’s losing out on wages as he is by his sons side as much as he can be through these treatments which are not all covered. We don’t know any parent who would think twice about being there for their child and the pressure and stress of losing income and having medical expenses can get to be a lot for one to handle. Things like bills, rent, groceries, gas and every day living expenses don’t go away, having some financial help (though hard to ask for) will help lessen some of the stress load. No it won’t take the fear and the stress of a sick child away but it will help him to better focus on the most important aspect of his life....his child A sincere thank you from the bottom of all our hearts for taking the time to read his story. There are not enough words to express the impact that this news has had on not only his parents but many loved ones around him.
